This week, a teacher approached me about a student who struggles with handwriting and typing. These two tools came to mind. One tool is Google's Voice Typing and the other, Typing Club
Google Voice Typing
Google Voice Typing is available in Google Docs. It uses your computer's microphone to turn your speech into text. Voice Typing is found under Tools - Voice Typing
Students will need to speak the words comma, period, question mark, etc. to indicate punctuation.

Typing Club is a free site that teaches students touch typing. It begins with the home, top and bottom row keys. It progresses to capital letters and punctuation keys. Students will enjoy "Typing Jungle" because it has games. Swing across balloons as you type to get to the end, or defeat the evil snow monster!
Be sure to login with your Google or Microsoft 365 account to save progress
