Have you ever played the game where you try to do everything on the computer without your mouse? Well, in honor of Tech Tip #10, I have included 10 shortcuts to get around your internet browser faster without having to use your mouse.
(Listed in ABC order)
1. Ctrl+D: Bookmark a page
2. Ctrl+E: Search in the address bar using your default search engine
3. Ctrl+H: Open browsing History
4. Ctrl+J: Open downloads
5. Ctrl+N: Open a new window
6. Ctrl+T: Open a new tab
7. Ctrl+W: Close a tab
8. Ctrl+Tab Key: Switch between open tabs
9: Ctrl+ minus or plus sign: zooms in or out
10: Ctrl+#0: Return to default zoom level
Pair these with F2 - Reload & F11 - Full screen, from Tuesday Tech Tip #7 and Ctrl+F from Tip #1 and you will be able to find anything!
