Truth be told, I was busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to write my Tuesday tech tip!
This week's tech tip is an April Fool's joke that I see students playing year round: flipping the monitor display sideways or upside down. (See image below)
The way to switch your monitor's orientation is easy. Just use:
Control+Alt+ the arrow keys.
Use the up arrow to resume the orientation to normal and the down, left and right arrows to change the orientation.
This trick only works on Window's machines (as far as I know). If the user logs off with the monitor sideways, you will need to log-in first before changing the screen.
Disclaimer: I don't recommend using this trick today with family, however I think it is good to know if someone plays this trick on you!
